In 2026, Film In A Bag Productions is taking our love of film and marketing to the next level by producing 12 shorts in 12 months because art can be good for business. The goal is to engage our local Chicago communities where we live and our sister communities in the Greater Chicagoland area we have grown to love, and we want you to be a part of it!

1. We are releasing 1 short film every single month in 2026

2. Filming can take place at any time during the year.

3. Each film needs to have an associated challenge or trying something new.

Our primary goal is to grow as artists and filmmaking professionals in 2026. We’ll be exploring new techniques, workflows, and styles that FIAB has not done before, showcasing our adaptability and skill growth over the course of a year.

• Locations would be for filming a 12 for 12 short and hosting screening events when it is complete which are huge things in their own right to be a place where the magic happens.

• Materials that would be useful are supplies for building sets, tools, costumes and costume pieces, decor, paint and if by chance a fellow filmmaker then gear loans appreciated.

• Services that would be helpful but not limited to: Crafty/food, set building, hair/make up, graphic design and really any on set job willing to volunteer for or have expertise in already.

• Monetary donations allow us to up the production value and final film quality with gear rentals, film fest entries or really paying for any of the above listed things we are also looking for.
